Dear Haijin, visitors and travelers,
Welcome at a new episode of Haiku Shuukan, a weekly haiku-meme. Last week I hadn’t time to prepare a new episode so again my excuses for that inconvenience, but this week we will close our journey along “the way of the bow” based on the e-book by Paulo Coelho with the same title.
This week it’s about the flight of the arrow after leaving the string of the bow and here is the quote on which I have based this episode:
[…] When the archer draws the bow-string, he can see the whole world in his bow.
When he follows the flight of the arrow, that world grows closer to him, caresses him and gives him a perfect sense of duty fulfilled.
Each arrow flies differently. You can shoot a thousand arrows and each one will follow a different trajectory: that is the way of the bow. […]
Especially that last sentence I will use for this episode. Every arrow flies differently takes its own path … it will follow its own way. Isn’t that what we are doing all. We are all unique and everyone follows his or her own path, but at the end we are all the same.
At the end of our life we hope all to give praise to the Lord as we stand in front of Him in His Heavenly Town.
follow the arrow
all its different paths –
With this episode we leave The Way of the Bow …. I hope you did like to discover this wonderful Way of the Bow.
This episode is NOW OPEN for your submissions and will remain open until next Wednesday March 25th at noon (CET).
