Dear Haijin, visitors and travelers,

Do you recall our last episode, Absence of Vanity? Than you can also recall the image I painted with the Stepping Stones. Stick with that image. We will go on on that path of stepping stones to the Gazebo where we will have a traditional tea-ceremony in episode 19. That tea-ceremony will be your reward to conquering the 18 stepping stones of Sivananda’s Song of the ’18-ity’s.

This week we will pass the 4th Ity Sincerity. Open hearted and righteous we will stand there. To be openhearted and righteous sounds easy, but is it easy to be openhearted and righteous? Talking and acting right from your heart as a loving and caring being isn’t easy. We all have a kind of personal protecting shield, a kind of wall that’s around us. It’s not in us to say what we think. We are choosing our words after thinking about it. Can I say what I want? How do I have to say it without hurting the other? I respect the ideas of the other, but what as your ideas are different than the ideas of others?
Free speech is something I cherish and … for sure that isn’t always easy to act in the way of free speech. For example: Maybe you can remember the attack/down-shoot of that airplane of Malaysian Airlines at the start of this month. Almost 300 humans died, because their airplane was shot down. In that plane were almost 200 Dutch people. I was angry and very sad. I, for sure, said awfull things about those Ukranian separatists and that wasn’t ok, but it was a relief to be angry. What I said was sincere, straight from my heart. Several days after that disaster it became clear that the Ukranian separatists didn’t know that it was a civilian flight. They thought it was a military flight of the Ukranian army. Of course, it that was a military flight, they hadn’t still not the right to shoot it down.
If something is bothering you than say what you feel about it and think about it. Be honest and sincere to say something about it, but with respect.

Be sincere to yourself also. Sometimes we act like that we are feeling better than we really are. We will all be a better (2.0) self, but that isn’t possible. We all are who we are with our faults and rarities. Let go of your mask, put it away … be yourself accept who you really are. We will have to learn that, but I know for sure that we can be ourself as we all want to be in the depths of our hearts.
Be sincere, accept who you are … it will give you peace, true peace …

finally I am who I am
